As you can see from this picture it is very warmin Argnetina during the summer (December through March) It is also very dry and bug free. So if you compare these float trips to our Alaska trips it seems like a walk in the park. The other nice thing about Esteban's trips are that they can be customized to meet your needs. There are plenty of couples who opt for no overnights on the rivers, instead staying each night in a wonderful lakeside lodge or Estancia. There is lots of sightseeing to be done in addition to the fishing. Bariloche is a charming ski town with a decidedly European flair.
Horseback any one?
So even if you don't fish at all it is a wonderful place to visit, with great restaurants, fine wine ( try the Malbecs) and incredible scenry. Send your spouse out fishing while we shop for local leather goods and sample the famous chocolate. The recent devaluation of the peso has created some great bargains.
The fishing is just as easy as Alaska. We hardly ever see another fisherman on the rivers!
