Andros Island: North Andros offers an incredible, virtually untouched fishery for trophy-sized bonefish. We combine the best guides in the are with a comfortable, locally owned hotel or villa to give you a great Bahamas experience. This location offers close proximity to the Joulters and the northern part of the west side. There is very little pressure up in this area.
Bairs Lodge is on the south end of Andros. Andros is the largest island of the Bahamas, and still one of the least developed. This unique and un spoilt island is divided by inland creeks and large channels, called bights. Bairs Lodge is situated between Deep creek and Little creek, neither more than a 5 minute boat ride from the house. These creeks open out into a broad area of inland flats with hundreds of small cays and connecting channels, covering over 120 square miles.
On Abaco, the laid back fishing settlement of Sandy Point, located on the southern tip of Abaco Island, is home to some of the best bonefishing found anywhere in the Bahamas. Sitting directly on a beach overlooking a picturesque flat, Sandy Points’ 10-bedroom Rickmon Bonefish Lodge was built in 1999 and opened for business the winter of 2000. Head guide and lodge owner Ricardo Burrows has fished the waters around Sandy Point for over 25 years. Along with Ricardo, the lodge employs 8 to 10 friendly and experienced Sandy Point guides, who pride themselves on their bonefishing skills and local knowledge. This is the premier bonefish area on Abaco.
