Trip Description
We are offering a new destination on Abaco in the Bahamas for premiere saltwater fly fishing. Sandy Point offers great flats fishing as well as beachfront accommodations at Rickmon Bonefish Lodge.
Abaco is a collection of islands that encompasses more than 120 miles from northernmost Walker's Caye, to southernmost Hole in the Wall. The land mass is roughly 650 square miles, with a population of about 10,000 people enjoying the beauty and simplicity of the islands. Abaco is located about 200 miles east of Palm Beach, Florida.
The Abaconians are warm and friendly, and take great pride in their islands and culture. They create a tranquil atmosphere that exudes a relaxed, peaceful attitude. Their skills have been dictated by necessity and have created master boatbuilders, farmers, sailmakers, and fishers.
Abaco is a dream destination for many people with its beautiful, secluded beaches and cayes, creating an inviting environment for fishing, diving, hiking, sailing and relaxing. The warm hospitality of the Abaconians makes this Bahamas destination one that you should certainly investigate.
