THE INN AT ROBERT'S GROVE
Trip Desription
 The trip begins in Belize City where you will board a small plane for your 30 minute flight to the town of Placencia in southern Belize. Here you will be greeted by our driver for the final few miles to your resort . The Inn at Robert's Grove is nestled on fifteen lush acres between the Caribbean Sea and the Placencia Lagoon. The Hacienda-style Inn is situated on the finest white, sandy beach of Placencia. Whether you're looking for high adventure or a leisurely beach vacation, we're equipped to make your visit to Placencia and Belize an unforgettable one.
After checking in and getting a quick run down of the grounds, you might want to head to the beach or pool to cool off and work on the tan. You also might want to get your fly rods rigged and ready for tomorrow. Tarpon, bones and permit are out there...
Day or night, take a dip in our two fresh water swimming pools overlooking the beach. We also have a tennis court, Jacuzzis, canoes, sea kayaks, sailboats, windsurfing boards, fitness equipment and bicycles for guest use. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of our on-property dive shop, fly fishing center, conference center and resort-operated day trips to the rainforest and Maya ruins. We also have an open air massage room and gift shop.
Your guide will meet you in the dining room sometime that evening to go over the next day's fishing. It might be an early start for tarpon or an 8 am start for bonefish. He will have a good idea of what to expect for weather, tides and fish. If  you are planning a dive visit the dive center on the lagoon side to see where you will be going.
In the morning you will get a nice breakfast from the buffet of pastries or ordering from the menu. Lunch is being made and packed in the coolers along with your favorite beverages. If you are not fishing you will get lunch at one of the restaurants or poolside.
Hopefully you will enjoy one of those incredible once in a lifetime days out on the water - maybe even a grand slam! Whether you are fishing, diving, heading out to the ruins or relaxing by the pools you will be ready for dinner. If you look below you will see some sample menus from our restaurants. This is a luxurious trip that can satisfy the search for a grandslam on a fly or a romantic honeymoon retreat. We specialize in trips that are a little of both.

casual Habanero Mexican Cafe & Bar overlooking Placencia lagoon and the Maya

The Seaside Restaurant at Robert's Grove
Behind every top restaurant is a terrific chef. At The Inn at Robert's Grove that distinction goes to our North American trained chef Frank DaSilva, who is responsible for turning out the acclaimed cuisine served daily in our Seaside Restaurant.
Frank's creations span the world with favorites influenced by Caribbean, Latin American, Mediterranean, and Pacific Rim traditions. The Restaurant at Robert's Grove serves three meals daily and prepares the best picnics on the Peninsula for Robert's Grove day trips. All baking is done on the premises. We also have the only temperature controlled wine cellar in Belize.
Along with the support of a great food and beverage staff, Frank makes dining at Robert's Grove Seaside Restaurant a culinary adventure not to be missed.
Meal Times
 Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am daily. A full breakfast menu is available.
Lunch is served in the dining room or poolside from 12 noon until 2 pm and includes a selection of salads, pastas, sandwiches and Tortilla Wraps.
Dinner is served in the dining room or on the verandah from 6:30 to 9:00 pm In addition to our regular dinner menu, we offer three daily entree "specials" as well as a special appetizer. With advance notice, our kitchen is happy to cater to special dietary needs. A children's menu is also available.
On Saturday nights Frank throws his famous Poolside Barbecue with a buffet table laden with grilled chicken, ribs, freshly caught fish and seafood, salads and vegetables galore.

Habanero Mexican Cafe & Bar is the newest addition to the culinary delights at Robert's Grove. Located at Robert's Grove Marina, overlooking the Placencia Lagoon, Habanero offers a casual atmosphere, zesty Mexican cuisine and the best Margaritas and Sangria (by the pitcher) in Belize.
Open for lunch and dinner, Habanero has an extensive appetizer menu as well and is a perfect spot for sunset cocktails or late night drinks.
