The Seasons
The fishing in Belize excellent year round but use the chart below if you have your heart set on a certain species. Keeping mind the weather can be a disaster in August because of Hurricanes but the truth is you only get those once every 20 years or so!. It is a little more windy in Fall and some weeks in the spring. There is almost always some wind but we have so many flats we can always find some that are out of the wind. Rain is not a factor - the rainy season in Belize refers to the interior portions of the country and rarely affects the atoll. A grand slam is likely throughout the year with the best months falling around the best permit and tarpon months as these are the toughest to catch!
